THE HISTORY:
The XTC-41 Citation was born out of those long conversations after qualifying on a Saturday night. All the "what ifs", "what do you think", "could we move this?", the many things racers talk and think about in their quest for the perfect racecar. We took the main components of the Citation forward of the rear roll bar with its many great features and the Lazer's rear suspension and combined them for a high bred Citation. Many had been asking for a leading arm Citation but we took it several steps farther by adding many other features besides leading arms.
As with so many of my projects, I had a lot of help along the way. Mike Beaumia assembled the first car from the components I made. He drove the car and tested it for 2 years before we made any production models. Other XTC-41 owners have given me complete and frequent updates from their racing and testing to help make this car a winner. My customers/ friends that drive the XTC are my best advertisements and salesman. Includes all items manufactured by Campbell Motorsport. Those items not included would be all VW parts, rod ends, seat belts, instruments, fasteners, brake lines, master cylinders, electrical components, steering wheel, shocks, spring, engine, gearbox, wheels, tires, fire system, mirrors, and other miscellaneous parts that can normally be purchased from any racing supply business. Includes the Standard bodywork package, which includes original nose, original cowl, Brewer upper tail, and Falcon side pods. Note: the exhaust system and fuel cell are included.
